The Boy received this Bible for Easter a couple of years ago.  I love that the stories are short (ideal for a quick bed time read, especially when Mama is dog tired!) and there are discussion points after each passage to get you and your kiddo thinking a bit more on the Scripture.  There are also devotionals that correlate with the passages.  Very sweet illustrations too!

This Bible is SUPER POPULAR!  The illustrations are amazing and the stories are beautifully written.  I especially love that each story is just a couple of pages long and the Scripture is conveyed in such an engaging way.  We were blessed to have been gifted this Bible recently, and it is a new favorite!

Adventure Bible for Early Readers, NIrV in "boy" or "girl" covers (reg. $34.99) ---> as LOW as $14.24

This Bible came highly recommended to us!  This is the NIrV translation and is written at about a 3rd grade level, perfect for beginning readers to dive into!  Just ordered for The Boy as his "Something to Read" gift!
