On Not "Staying Stuck"...

I started Bloom Where He Plants You almost 2 years ago in an effort to share a little more of my everyday life (outside of coupon shopping and deal seeking craziness), and to document the life changes we were starting to go through.  I have been neglecting this blog for quite some time now what with trying to get The Krazy Coupon Mama a little more established and 'cause life or whatever, but now it's time to, as Capt. Smith said, "Take her to sea and stretch her legs!"

So, a couple of days ago, I asked my readers on The Krazy Coupon Mama Facebook page this "Random Question of the Day":

"Is the place you are currently living in (dwelling, neighborhood, town, state) your 'forever' home? Not to be confused with 'dream' home, but is it the place you envision raising kids, retiring, hosting Sunday night family dinners and holiday parties, chasing grandchildren, and sitting on the porch in rocking chairs? If not, where do you feel your 'forever' home really is and what is it that is holding you back from being there? Jobs? Family obligations? Fear of change? What is keeping you rooted where you are right now?
Many of y'all may already be happily rooted in this season of your life, but I'm curious what your thoughts may have been before you found your 'forever' place."

While the responses were not huge (thanks Facebook for letting about 0.01% of my readers actually see the post!), I was very surprised to see others feeling the same way about their current place in life!  So many people go their entire life just "staying stuck" and never trying to uproot and, well, not ever really allowing themselves to "Bloom Where He Plants You"!  See what I did there?

This is our family's first step at not "staying stuck".  It has been a long and challenging past few months, with a lot of prayer, thought, worry, planning, and more prayer, but I am just thrilled to be able to start this part of our journey.  And to be sharing it with all of you.   More to come, but, as always, life. And a million boxes.  And just, ugh.

How would you answer this "Random Question of the Day"?  Have you found your 'Forever' place?
